Ingredients
(Serves 1):
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
¼ cup plain or vanilla yogurt (optional for creaminess)
1 tsp chia seeds (for that nice pudding texture!)
½ tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional but lovely)
Toppings:
½ cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1–2 tsp mixed seeds (like pumpkin, flax, chia, or sunflower)
A sprinkle of granola or crushed nuts (optional for crunch)
Instructions
Combine the base:In a jar or container, mix oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, sweetener, vanilla, and cinnamon.
Stir in berries:Fold in the mixed berries (or layer them on top if you prefer them fresh in the morning).
Seal and chill:Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
Serve and top:In the morning, give it a stir. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy cold — or warm it up if you prefer!
Tips
Use a mason jar or meal prep container for easy grab-and-go.
You can make 3–4 jars at once to prep breakfast for the week.
Frozen berries work well and thaw overnight in the oats.
